Marketplace
Introduction
BizzStream is used to automate business processes in a quick and easy way. In BizzStream, you can distribute business processes by offering them as packages in the BizzStream marketplace. A package is a bundle of setup entities that together from a business process or that form the basis for other packages.
Packages can reuse layouts supplied by other packages without blocking installation when the other package is not available yet. See Using Embedded Layouts in Packages for how BizzStream restores these connections automatically.
Offering a package in the marketplace has the following benefits:
- Quick distribution pre-modeled business processes
- Intellectual property protection for scripts
- Ability to update installed packages in an easy way
Installing and updating packages
Open the package in the Marketplace, choose a version in the dropdown and click Install (or Update).
By default, an update keeps the changes you made in the target environment to permissions, default access group members and open properties. Click the lock icon next to the button (Overwrite permissions, default access group members, and open properties) to replace these with the values from the package instead.
Setting values are always kept, whether the lock icon is on or off. See Settings in packages and imports.
